Imperial Baltic Porter made with cedar wood spirals - a special brewed for the To Øl Beer Club.At school his classmates would make drawings of kings and queens and dogs and cats, but Roky would draw monsters and aliens and Martians and vampires. Because he saw them with his own eyes, and eventually he started to feel like an alien. And people would stare. Roky understood that he looked different, being an alien, but all that staring drove him paranoid. He found refuge in drugs and music, eventually the two blended together in a new and never before heard of psychedelic style of rock. Roky became an underground legend for his unique wailing approach to every song. He looked and sounded like the madman he clinically was. In periods the demons would fully take over his mind, and Roky would disappear into mental hospitals for long periods. Years later after he gave up on self-medicating with a combo of shrooms and weed and whatever pills he could come by, Roky had some stable and borderline happy years of touring and writing new songs. Songs still full of demons and zombies, but now they stayed in his songs and only there. In those years he finally received some credit for being one of rock music's truest originals. Roky Erickson died in 2019, aged 71.
