We brewed our first barley wine back in 2021 which has been aging away in Fettercairn whisky barrels for 14 months. Fettercairn is a fantastic distillery located very close to Newbarns Farm in the Strathmore valley. Definitely worth checking out of you haven’t already.The beer is very much an old school barley wine, malty, spicy, a bit like an upside down pineapple cake…This sticky beast will certainly warm your cockles to finish off this long winter season.
