This beer is full of dark fruit flavours, emphasising raisins and dates, with supporting roasted hazelnut, toasty and dark chocolate malt notes. The first thing that comes to mind when smelling the beer is rum-soaked raisins.This beer was brewed with Christmas cake in mind. Double roasted crystal, aromatic and carafa malt, each contributing raisin, honey and chocolate flavours, respectively, were used. First Gold hops, known for their orange and spicy characteristics, were added in the kettle.
