Barrel Cured

We blended the non-coffee porter base for Bangun with 20% Imperial Oatmeal Stout and aged it in a Elijah Craig bourbon barrel. The result is a bold barrel character (especially charred oak, marshmallow, and caramel) layered onto the smooth roasted porter. We've got a couple more kegs of this we'll have fun with over the next two weeks!
