We love making callbacks to previous beers from our output here at Polly's - whether they're related by name or by recipe, it's always fun for us to drop little easter eggs for the more eagle eyed of you out there. Soaked is a direct relative of our recent foray into Cryo-hopped beers, Cryo Eyes. Whilst Cryo Eyes took a 75% fancy frozen hop addition, on Soaked we've gone for a more straight up 50/50 split. Utilizing the same Simcoe Cryo, we've paired it up with some T-90 varietal as well as our old favourite Mosaic to create a high-juice modern interpretation of the Mosaic Simcoe DDH Pale that charmed so many hearts back in those halcyon Loka Polly days. Expect a tropical smasher of a pale ale, with maximum drinkability in mind.
