A charity brew auctioned off during Shanghai Beer Week for Bean Shanghai. The winners were Jen Hirsch and Scott Wang. The goal was to create a smooth and “sneaky” beer with some underlying hop character. The result is a brew with a light copper color with the use of 4 different imported hops. Along with the hops fresh ginger and cucumber were added towards the end of the boil. The finished beer is a dangerously drinkable IPA with notes of ginger, apricot, peach and very light cucumber undertone. Cheers to Scott and Jen battling out the auction and deciding to team up together to create this unique collaboration beer!
