The brewers got to try a new experimental yeast strain, not yet on the commercial market.EL-1622 marries the robust character of a Norwegian Kveik yeast with the usual esters from an English ale yeast. It introduces a huge pineapple and mango aroma. Nelson Sauvin, Amarillo and HBC522 hops were combined to get flavours of apricot, tangerine, and subtle undertones of white grapes and passionfruit.Dangerously drinkable for a 9% ABV TIPA.Best served at a temperature of 8°C.
