It's been years since we've seen one, but the return of Seasons Past is now! This release is a single 500 liter barrel of seven-month-old Funky Blender. We bottled this back in early February. We'd been tasting barrels throughout the winter and were loving how this barrel was progressing. It was an easy call to let it keep going. We bottled it as is and just love it. think mentioned it in the most recent Sour Hour, but believe the longer a beer is in a barrel, the longer it needs to be in a bottle. So after nearly eight months of aging, we're ready to release it. This beer has a very complex aroma, softer acidity than younger barrels and amazing minerality. It's nuts what just a few months of extra aging time will do.
