Schweinbräu Märzen is a collaboration we brewed with our close friends at 33 Acres Brewing. Last year when Adam and Simon went to Europe to drink lagers and eat pork, Ben from 33 Acres highlyrecommended visiting Augustiner Bräu in Salzburg to drink their Märzen. We were not disappointed and this collaboration is an ode to that beer.Brewed with a blend of Pilsner malts and Carahell and hopped with Hallertau Spalter Select. This Märzen is a light amber colour with crisp balanced bitterness. Extremely drinkable and layered with crackery malt character, a hint of honey, and earthy lemon hop notes.
