We brewed it for the annual Alpha King Challenge hosted by the amazing @3floydsbrewing . The requirements for this contest include that the beer must be an IPA (of any form) and have a minimum of 60 IBUs. This means it has a little more bitterness than we generally have in our hazies. Our entry is a 8% double IPA that is jam-packed with Comet hash, Citra cryo, Mosaic cryo, Nelson Sauvin hops and Strata hops. This beer is blasting with aromas of mango and orange peel. It has thick flavors of grapefruit and citrus and the juiciness lingers on the tongue in a pretty magnificent way. The light bitterness is very smooth and clean.
