This cider has an interesting history. Originally planned to be a straight up Bourbon Barrel aged cherry cider, this guy actually refermented in the barrel. When tasting it straight from the barrel it was bone dry and BOOZY. First thoughts were “this is an Old Fashioned!” So after adding a touch of sweetness from orange blossom honey and some complex citrus notes from orange zest, we were left with Manic’s Old Fashioned Cherry Cider. If you love a good Old Fashioned, this cider will NOT disappoint.
