This is the last of the Short Shorts blends for the season as we say goodbye to summer (Rob’s crying in his beer as I write this). As usual, we saved the weirdest for last. As you may know, we really dislike Reverence Barrel Works. So, one night back in June, Rob broke into their new facility and stole 100 liters of second use strawberry rhubarb puree. We took Short Shorts off a second use Comet dry hop and refermented it on the puree for a month. The results of petty theft are spectacular. The fruit notes are soft strawberry with just a hint of rhubarb. The acidity is lower and softer than the other batches of Short Shorts released this year, offering more of a traditional than an American-style Berliner Weiss this time around. The light
