Of the Village: the ReImagining IV

In a largely throw-away culture that promotes the adage, "Buy, Buy, Buy", waste surrounds us. However, in a world Re-Imagined, things might be a little different; through creativity we might find a re-birth. Our "ReImagining" series takes ingredients that we have already used and finds them new life. For Of the Village: the ReImagining IV we took second use Elderberries, Plums, and Cardamom, and rested them in a dry Cider along with fresh foraged Mugwort and Golden Rod. After some weeks we have a lightly pink hued cider with a fruity cardamom backbone and an underlying dry bitter herbal note. A second use. A second life. A ReImagining.
