One evening, whilst our assistant brewer was watching the cult classic ‘The Big Lebowski’, a thought occurred to him. "The Nihilists are ordering Lingonberry Pancakes. Do lingonberries exist in New Zealand?"This beer really ties the room together; it highlights a berry that is rare in New Zealand, the Lingonberry, just as Rare Disorders brings a spotlight to those suffering from a rare disorder or disease. The blending of real maple syrup is just the cream on top (of the White Russian) to bring about a beer that can be drunk for breakfast, dessert, or whenever the ‘Dude Abides.’
