Make sure you grab a pint of our 25th Anniversary Ale, aka “Fun”!This is a special brew befitting such an auspicious anniversary. An American Barleywine that was aged six months and then pumped back into a fermenter and Re-dryhopped! This gives a barleywine with smooth aging but fresh hop character. It was dryhopped with a classic MI hop (Copper) and a Neo-mexicanus hop (Zappa). Malt character is sweet and bready with spicy hints from the Rye used. It is bitter with tropical and passion fruit notes. The aging gives it sherryish notes. While it has some alcohol notes from its 9.5% abv, the aging has made them more subtle. It is amber with a dirty white head ??
