Well, this is her cooler older cousin: “It’s Still Happening”This beer, brewed with English malt, was then conditioned on vanilla beans and bourbon-soaked oak spirals. This bottled version comes in at the same ABV, 12%, and has similar notes sweet fig, raisin, and caramel. It is full of woody flavors and soft vanilla. There is a mild warmth from the liquor and an aroma of toffee and brown sugar. It finishes sticky with notes of toasted rye bread loaded with sticky molasses. It’s complex, malty, and has a beautiful depth to it.
