Viator Obscura: Fluffer Nutter

Our base imperial pastry stout, Viator Obscura (latin for “dark traveler”), gets a complex grist bill with caramel, chocolate, and roasted malts before a 3 hour boil boosts our potential ABV and caramelizes the extracted sugars. Balancing hops are added to the boil and long, cool fermentation presents a smooth, chocolatey and sweet base stout. Fluffernutter has over 20lbs per barrel of peanuts and a ton of vanilla/mashamallow to round it out.
