A Wee Heavy is a strong complex Scottish Ale. We used a simple recipe of pale malt, roasted barley and a handful of East Kent Goldings before boiling for a staggeringly long time to encourage caramelisation and get it up to 9.9 % It then spent 4 months maturing in an ex-Bourbon Whisky cask. Expect lots of toffee, caramel and plum, married with the Vanilla Bourbon oak tones. This is a dangerously drinkable full-bodied beer that gives a hit you’ll want to come back for time after time.Ingredients (Allergens in bold): Water, Barley, Hops and Yeast
