Weller Bourbon Barrel aged imperial stout with macadamia nuts and cacao nibs.This beer is warm and soft. It has a dark chocolate notes with espresso bitterness. We are getting a lot of the Bourbon from the barrel, but in an exceptionally drinkable way. It has flavors of a chocolate milkshake topped with crushed nuts that lingers on the tongue. It is a good balance of booze and sweetness with just a hint of nuttiness. It has wood, heat, sweetness and a pleasant bitter bite. This fudgey beer is decadent, yet drinkable, and downright delicious.
