InsPectA Modern Californian IPA. ???InsPectA is a collaborative effort with Gary the local building inspector. At a local Gardens of Fernside charity fundraiser, Gary and a few of his friends won the opportunity to come and spend the day with us brewing a beer and eating some excellent BBQ cooked by our good friend Donald McMillan, who just so happens to be an InsPectA of meat... (he judges BBQ competitions ?)InsPectA is our interpretation of this relatively new-ish style of IPA dubbed California modern IPA. On a light malt base consisting of Pilsner, Vienna wheat and dextrin malt we layered in plenty of punchy and direct hops to define InsPectAs hop character as bHoppy, citrusy, resinous, dank, and piney.
