Not this time sorry: this lager pils is for the individual with curiosity in their heart and mischief in their eye.Cheeky Weka Lager is the colour of golden straw with a puffy white head. It appears like a classic pilsner, but the aroma is a little less conventional with an intriguing mix of lime juice, watermelon, periwinkle nectar and minerally aromatic white wine. A sip offers a cool mouthful of minerality, then juicy fruitiness followed by a blast of classic dry pilsner bitterness and a kiss of stonefruit on the lips. Many lager/ pilsners are unrewarding and only offer value for volume. This one is quite a lot more: a Lager/ Pils that suggests a few moments of grateful contemplation in every glass.
