Our first pear beer is finally here! Late in the 2021 fruit season, one of our growers reached out and wondered if we wanted any pears. We've never used pears before. Pears are one of the latest fruits to ripen in Colorado and in years past we're usually out of mature barrel stock to do anything with them. But last year, with our lack of grapes available, we had several choice barrels and made this blend happen. This beer is the perfect blend of pear and Funky Blender complexity. An EF member who tried it early proclaimed it the best beer she'd ever had. You'll love it.
