Elation is a brand new beer in terms of technique for us here at Brus.This is a mash-up of classic lager techniques, mixed with new IPA style techniques.The malt bill features pilsner, chit barley and wheat. And in the kettle, we added German noble hops, along with Hallertau Blanc.It was then fermented with a classic German lager yeast and then dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria, Hallertau Blanc and a touch of Citra.It was then lagered at 0 degrees C for more than 5 weeks - like you would for a classic lager. This allows the flavors to meld and brighten, resulting in an immensely drinkable beer that we are very proud of.Cheers!
