Making beer is not the most glamorous of processes. It's factory work, and it is a grind... Days can be long, and times can be trying, but the payoff can be huge in the people you please and the friendships you forge. Our series of Double IPAs named "Losers' Club" is an invitation to the fellow losers we've come to befriend to brew a Double IPA in their style and showcase what we all do best together. For Vol. VIII, we brewed with our friends from Pretty Decent, one of the more pretty decent breweries in London. This hazy hop monster is slightly atypical of our Double IPAs, layers in some Simcoe and Southern Hemisphere hops we often reserve for our Westcoasties. The old world and the new world join forces to douse this beer with hop flavors consisting of tangerine juice, white grapefruit, passion fruit curd, lime zest, bergamot peel, white wine grapes, gooseberry preserves, and a distinctive hint of fresh Sour Tangie and NYC Diesel buds.hops: Nelson, Simcoe, Waimea, Motueka, and Mandarina
