Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon Barrels with Banana, Coconut & Macadamia NutsThe fruits of our collaboration with the illustrious Weldwerks Brewing out of Greeley, Colorado.The base of this beer is a hybrid of Medianoche, their amazing Imperial Stout, and one of our two Barleywines that we use for Altar of the Orc Lord. It's rich, lovely, and has a nice roasty edge to it. They sent us a sealed envelope with some ingredients we were challenged to use, and I think we rose to the occasion. We added Wild Thai Banana, Hawaiian Macadamia Nuts, and Coconut to make a heavenly beer. It's pure dessert.
