This deep copper/mahogany colour—beer is filtered to be crystal clear and show off the richness of the malt colour. This colour would have been typical of most beers from the 1600’s in Germany (pale beers are modern inventions) Full, rich head from the use of the 100% barley malt. Very flavourful caramel malt palate with a light smokiness and slowly drying aftertaste. Clean, dry, quenching finish with a slightly lingering smokiness. This is a Mill Street version of Joel’s favourite style of beer!
