Lost In Leith - Riesling Mixed Ferm Pale

In a UK first for a brewery, we filled an Australian 'White Port' (fortified Riseling, don't ask where we got it!) barrel from the Barossa valley. The Pale started its life as our now defunct table beer, Deck Beer, and has been ageing for two years with a blend of fruit-forward Brettanomyces strains. The result is now a funky pale ale, bursting with melon, lemon and stone-fruit flavours. Interestingly the cask will have a spirited after-life - it was picked up by our good friends from Dornoch Distillery.
