Rich, and decadent, this is lager, but not as you know it....Brewed back in May with our mates Phil and Ewan from Simple Things Fermentations, based in the Southside of Glasgow. This is a wonderfully complex, delicious, dark and strong lager. Munich malts and Simpsons DRC play off each other beautifully to bring us flavours of raisin, dark dried fruits, toffee and a small amount of burnt sugar. The long slow fermentation combined with extended conditioning time means the smoothness of this exquisite beverage belies its strength.As if you couldn't tell. we are extremely happy with the results.
