We love dark beer, and we love hoppy beer but not necessarily together, until now!Introducing a “Cold Dark Day in Hell” from Wild West and Carbon Brews, oh yes, we went there! With Cold IPA as the base (Pilsner Malt, local rice, lager yeast), we added a light touch of roasted wheat malt and roasted barley malt extract. The dark malt component brings just a touch of body and roast malt bitterness, but virtually none of those typical roasted malt flavors!The result? Pure Valentines Bliss! It’s a dark beer that doesn’t taste dark, it has beautiful modern IPA hop expression!Hop heads rejoice, we’ve cracked the code!
