Blitzen never did recover after being 2nd to Rudolph, just because he had a nice shiny nose. Blitzen thought to himself... my nose could be nice and shiny of it wasn't stuck up Rudolph's behind once a year, but it's okay because Blitzen enjoys a good IPA and we have provided it!
