This beer is loosely based on an English Barley Wine/Strong Scotch Ale with a twist; being brewed to a higher strength than traditional style guidelines dictate & using an extended boil time to emphasize the caramelised character of the beer. Rich malty, sweet caramel flavours are accompanied by raisins, dried fruit, vinous, sherry-like flavours and a delicious alcohol warmth.
