Zwarte bessen mede or black currant mead.**This Mead will be renamed as of the next batch. It will revert to it's original name: Sanguis Imperatoris**This is a off sweet Melomel. The added black currant (whole and pureed) make for a subtle fruit explosionette with a lingering after taste.The chestnut honey and Tahitian vanilla round off the experience.Sanguis Imperatoris took a silver medal at the Mead Madness Cup 2023.
