We’re well documented about how passionate we are for a pale ale here at the brewery. For all the supercharged, high abv beers we produce, there’s sometimes nothing better than the straightforward simplicity of a well made pale. Palms is an unashamed Polly’s riff on a modern classic – Verdant’s renowned pale ale Headband, with a distinctly new school twist. We’ve utilised the same Citra and Mosaic base hop bill, but whilst our Cornish pals take their pale on a trip along the old school, we’re diving headfirst into the new school hype hops; tickling this beer with Idaho 7 and Bru-1 to positively drench this beer in pineapple, mango and pinkfruit notes, all brought together by our in-house LA3 strain for maximum suspension and mouthfeel.
