This traditional Mead is made with heather honey from the Veluwe. After fermentation, it aged on Vin Santo wood blocks. Barrel Aged Vin Santo Maple Syrup was used for back sweetening. It is a sweet spicy mead with lots of oak flavor from the Vin Santo and aging.
