In July of 2020, we teamed up with Vitamin Sea Brewing for a collaboration that in many ways was a major highlight of the summer. This time around, VSB was kind enough to allow us to brew their version of the collab, Charge the Channel, a Double IPA hopped with ludicrous amounts of Citra, Rakau, and Galaxy.Pouring a hazy deep yellow, Charge the Channel wastes no time in filling the room with its vibrant, tropical aroma. Notes of mango nectar, juicy pineapple rings, and ripe guava delight the palate. Underneath this onslaught of tropical fruit, a creamy citrus profile adds notes of candied grapefruit, lemon preserves and orange creamsicle. This DIPA offers a medium-bodied mouthfeel, with gentle bitterness, and a highly drinkable finish.
