We’re big fans of the natural wine movement here at Little Pomona, in particular, skin contact whites or orange wines as they are known. This is our little homage to this ancient style.A blend of Dabinett (67%), Harry Masters Jersey (31%) and a small amount of perry (2%), was spontaneously fermented and then racked into French oak barrels for six months. At that point, everyone who joined us in tasting them remarked on how similar they were to orange wine – or should that be, how similar to cider orange wines are?
