This edition of Surtur was aged in Scottish Islay whisky casks, giving it heretofore unknown levels of strength – the iron fist of a Jötunn in a black velvet glove.Surtur is named after Surtr (Old Norse for "black" or "the swarthy one”) a devil giant in Norse mythology foretold as being a major figure during the events of Ragnarök.
