Barrel Aged Sour // 5.9% Abv // 375ml"The Suffolk countryside brings many joys. Long, sunny summer days, lush hedgerows bursting with fruits, meadows full of fresh wildflowers. It's very much the inspiration for annual Hedgerow Blend sour - a celebration of hedgerow fruits found bountifully the brewery. In the 2023 blend, used a mix of foraged wild plums, elderberries, crab apples, blackberries, damsons and green gages, alongside wild hops. The prevalence of plums means it's one of the first upfront flavours, with a jamminess overall from the mix of fruits. There's a light effervescence that brings forth a dry minerality that pairs wonderfully with the fruit."
