Duplexity is a new series of bottles that we have created to showcase how the marriage of two barrels, similar or different, can create a more complex product than if it were to be released as a single barrel. And similar to our Singularity Series, the liquid in these barrels is left untreated to emphasize the barrel character produced by the oak and the barrel's previous occupants. Duplexity: WLW15 is an Imperial Stout that was aged in two 15 year old William Larue Weller Wheated Bourbon barrels for 19 months. Compared to other offerings in the Duplexity Series, this iteration has the most caramel and vanilla character as a result of the smoother whiskey the barrel once housed. No need to age it further, we already did that for you.
