The folks down at Red Shed Malting have supplied us with malt since day one yet somehow we have yet to make a 100% Red Shed Malt beer until now! We wanted a summer appropriate style that would also highlight the best malts that Red Shed has to offer. After some deliberation, an altbier recipe was formulated. This beer is dominated by malt-forward flavours with a smooth mouthfeel, a rich nuttyness, and toasty bread notes.
