This stout was inspired by a mainstay of the Disco Erakitchen: the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. It’s sticky. It’smessy. It does not look tasty, but it is addictive andfortifying. You can also pour a lot of boozy syrup over itbefore you serve it. That’s where the addictive comesfrom. And the fortifying.All photographic and video-graphic evidence wasdestroyed, but it is rumored that brewer Spencerplayed gentle, wholesome disco ballads across thebrewery floor late into the night on Disco Cake’s brewday. Aged on rum staves toimpart a light vanilla and warming spice on the finish."
