Cold Mate IPA

Cold IPAs are made with a simple, light flavoured malt base, and as the name hints, are fermented at a lot colder temperature than normal IPAs, usually with lager yeast. The idea is to make a clean, simple beer base and let the hops shine through.This one is no different. Made with pilsner malt and maize (corn), and using only a single hop, Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand.It's a pretty funky hop, with bits of capsicum, gooseberry and finishing notes of white wine. Plus it tastes pretty bloody good.
