Degaussing is the process of reducing or eliminating an unwanted magnetic field (or data) stored on tape and disk media such as computer and laptop hard drives, diskettes, reels, cassettes etc.It feels suitable to apply the same concept to brewing. We start with brew number one, which has in the history of brewing never gone well for anyone, and over time we slowly remove, refine and eliminate the pieces we no longer want to have perceived in our beer.This is a game of inches.
