The classic VW Bus, outfitted with its camper and pop-top allowed people to stop where they were, and Sleep Anywhere. Our friends at Le Garage Winery in Chester Springs serve their wine out of one of those old classic vans, and offered us an oak barrel that held their Port Wine for many months. We took a Cider that was co-fermented with cherries and aged for one year, then rested it in that barrel for 8 more months. The result is Of the Woods: Sleep Anywhere, a dry cider, with some great oaky tannic structure, with subtle cherry and deep red wine notes on the palate.
