Black Rose is a session stout which has been kettle soured and fermented with blackberries and rosewater. The blackberries and rosewater assault your nose as you dive in. The first tastes to hit your palate are those of a stout - coffee, chocolate and roasted malts. These flavours give way to the sweetness of Turkish delight, which then morphs into a surprising, tart, refreshing finish from the blackberries and lactobacillus.
