Blackberry and rhubarb sour is a wonderful, jammy kettle sour fermented on a base rich in malted and raw wheat. After initial fermentation Jess added absurd amounts of blackberries and rhubarb juice and left the beer and fruits to integrate for a few weeks.Inspired heavily by the jams and preserves of Eastern Europe this beer is much greater than the sum of its parts. It exudes fruitiness and tastes like fresh blackberries! A beer any Babushka would be proud of.
