WSKY is a collaboration we brewed with our dear friends Alvinne in April 2016.We brewed a Quad that day and that evening we decided that some of it should be aged in whisky barrels from our local distillery, Fettercairn.The barrels give a new dimension to this already complex beer. Aromas of rum and raisin ice cream hit the nose straight away, before subsiding to allow hints of vanilla, clove and dried fruit to flourish.On the palate, caramelised fruit and a toffee sweetness is tempered by a spicy, warming finish.
