Mavrud 2023

A fruit-forward blend of 2 year old lambic and the infamous Mavrud grapes, native to the Thracian Valley. After a few days of skin-contact, the grapes followed a maceration of nearly 4 months on the lambic. This blend has been then oak-conditioned to receive additional spiciness, tannins and rakiya flavours. Some of the bottles were bottled still to remind us of natural wine. Bottled February 2024
