Brewed with our friends at Eighth State Brewing and Butter & Cream, we collectively came up with this chocolate cake inspired imperial stout while reminiscing about a collaboration from the past. After Butter & Cream’s chocolate cake was added to the mash and the beer had enough time to condition, it was laid to rest in a bourbon barrel until toasted cocoa nibs, Ugandan & Madagascar vanilla beans, and more chocolate cake were added…..with coffee.
