Denali Single Hop IPA

Hopsteiner refer to the Denali hop as BIG, a monster of a plant with gigantic cones and an unusually high oil content. Perhaps that is why they renamed it from Experiment #06277 – which sounds a bit like a prisoner on death row. It’s now the more marketing-friendly Denali, the high one, after the Alaskan indigenous name for North American’s highest mountain, otherwise known as Mount McKinley.It still is BIG, bursting with rich tropical citrus aromas and heavy on pineapple, with a touch of spice to boot. We are excited to showcase this new hop as part of our single hop IPA, or SHIPA, range.
